Background

The owner of start-up venture Bistro di Marino wanted to bring "Old City [Philadelphia] to Southern Jersey" and charged SGC to create both an environment and image that reflected the simplicity of his vision and while focusing attention on the food and the flavors of his creations. In essence, style equal to substance—neither overpowering the other. The end result was inspired by the energy of Italian motor sport and the artistic beauty of food itself. The approach resulted in both award-winning designs and rave reviews for this successful restaurant.
