Background

The Philadelphia Leukemia Society commissioned SCG to create an event design for their annual Bridesmaids' Ball. The event is a Philadelphia tradition raising funds for the organization as well as awareness of the effects of both leukemia and lymphoma. The event brings together singles and couples where the "bridesmaids" wear old gowns from weddings gone by for a good time and a good cause. The design needed to communicate the fun and more prestigious side of the gala. The end result was a sophisticated yet quirky design that differed greatly from the more "fashionista" approaches of previous years.
